All of this, while a nation of 300 million watched, mostly in spectator like ‘holier than thou’ anticipation, reminiscent of gladiators from an ancient past, as they watched bus load after bus load of hand-cuffed young fathers unable to pay the draconian family court orders that literally forced indentured service upon them. It is time we engaged in a new and rational form of productive public discovery and debate on Fathers rights child custody laws and child support laws.

Yes, I know there are perhaps scores of more pressing issues at this darkening time in the nation’s history, and I also know that every child has the right to the uninterrupted love and support of each of her natural parents.

First, however, we must eliminate politics, big government, and societies most mistrusted element, the lawyers who masquerade as society’s dispute resolution experts and are usually the only real winners.  If we could achieve this, it just might be that the children and both of their individual parents could find themselves much closer to a win-win by protecting Fathers rights child custody.

No more tainted input from any of those making money off of the current system, regardless of their sophistry-cloaked conflict of interest-based ethics. And, the politicians who have made a career out of harvesting divisive gender based votes would be kept busy surviving on pay from the the lowest form of responsibility in society like untrustworthy servants, foreclosed from future involvement in or connection with any facet of public trust.

We can do better than the current system, a new system would no doubt not be perfect, but the current one can be substantially improved.
